Off and on showers will impact the Sequatchie Valley throughout the day on Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Some showers may be moderate to heavy at times, with total rainfall amounts through Wednesday around 1.5 – 2 inches. No significant flooding is expected with the rain.
With colder air present by midweek, the rain may mix with snow and we could see a few mountain flurries on Wednesday afternoon and evening, however no accumulations are expected.
Much colder air will be moving in behind the front Wednesday night and into Thursday, which could cause some black ice for your Thursday morning commute.
We’ll stay cold and dry into the weekend with highs in the 40′s and overnight lows dipping into the 20′s.
