Voters in Marion County head to the polls today to decide the outcome of several key local races in the county.
One closely-watched race is that of the County Mayor.
Incumbent John Graham (D), who was appointed to replace County Mayor David Kirk in December 2010 after his unexpected passing faces Republican candidate Gary Ellis at the polls in order to serve out the remaining two years of the term.
Another highly-contested race in the county is that of Road Superintendent.
Neil Webb, who was appointed to the position after the departure of John Graham for the Mayor’s office, faces former Signal Mountain road superintendent Jim Hawk for that position.
We’ll have complete results on local races and results throughout the night tonight and a complete recap first thing tomorrow morning on our media partner, WTNW-AM 820 in Jasper.
