SCOTTSBORO, AL — On Thursday, Jackson County deputies went to a residence off of Old Larkinsville Road in Scottsboro to serve an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear and ended up arresting four on a variety of drug charges.
Charles Eugene Palmour had been charged with resisting arrest but never showed for his court date. When deputies arrived at the residence, they arrested Palmour and obtained probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
During the search, a quantity of methamphetamine, controlled pharmaceuticals, and non-controlled prescription pills along with drug paraphernalia were located and seized.
Palmour was also charged with possession of controlled substances (meth), two counrts of possession of controlled substances (pills), illegal possession of prescription drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested in connection with this investigation were Melissa Sue Palmpur, 37, Christopher George Mason, 37, and Eric Brandon Holcomb, 25. They all face the same charges as Charles Palmour
At this time of this release all remain in custody and bond has not been set.
Assisting in this investigation were: Scottsboro Police Department, Hollywood Police Department, Alabama Game and Fish, and Department of Human Resources.
