Victim identified in Cartwright stabbing from Tuesday

Train derailment in Dade Co., GA

Clean up continues today in Dade County, Georgia following a train derailment on Sunday night. Eighteen cars derailed near Morganville Ridge Road on Hwy 11 in Wildwood.  No injuries are reported in connection to the derailment. Dunlap Vice Mayor facing DUI charges

The Vice Mayor of Dunlap has been charged with DUI in Knox County. James “Dan” Barker, 73, was arrested September 2nd by officers in Knox County. His bond was set at $500. Dunlap officials have not said whether any action will be taken regarding Barker’s role with the city at this time.
