KIMBALL, Tenn. — Following up on a story we brought you first on Saturday night…
Officials with the Kimball Police Department say a man who had been shot showed up in a local business parking lot on Saturday night.
Kimball officers and Marion County Sheriff’s deputied were dispatched to the Tennessee Alabama Fireworks store located on Highway 72 just before 9pm CDT.
The victim told officers that he’d been shot in the stomach in an incident that happened in Madison County, Alabama and was on his way to a Chattanooga hospital.
Chief Deputy Billy Powell with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department says the man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Officials have not released the man’s name, but say he is expected to make a full recovery.

KIMBALL, Tenn. — The Marion County Sheriff’s is investigating a call about a person being shot that came in on Saturday night.
Chief Deputy Billy Powell says the man came into the Tennessee Alabama Fireworks store on Highway 72 in Kimball claiming that he’d been shot.
Deputies responded to the scene to gather more details and EMS was also dispatched.
At this time it’s unclear where exactly the shooting happened, but investigators are working to uncover that information and locate the suspect.
Powell says the man is expected to be okay, however did not give the name of the victim or a suspect.
