A free grazing land workshop will be held with the local Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) office on Thursday, November 15th.
The workshop will take place between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST with topics covered including controlling animal movement to improve forage survival and use, how to determine the condition of a pasture, what it costs to make and feed hay and much more.
Lunch will be provided. Must RSVP by October 30th by calling the NRCS office at 423-942-2244 (ext. 3).
