If you're heading to a football game tonight, take your umbrellas, ponchos, and rain gear...rain continues along with cooler lows in the mid and upper 50s for tonight. For the weekend, the soggy weather continues with periods of rain on Saturday and Saturday night. Some of that rain could be heavy at times. High temps remain in the mid 60s with Lows in the upper 50s.
Provided Hurricane Joaquin stays far enough from the east coast, we'll see showers gradually fade on Sunday and maybe some sunshine by the afternoon with Highs reaching the low 70s, back in the upper 50s by Sunday night.
We'll see drier and slightly warmer weather return Monday through Thursday next week, with Highs 74-78, and some spotty showers returning Thursday night into next Friday...
Have a great weekend! ... See MoreSee Less
Unsettled weather continues for the rest of this week and into the upcoming weekend. The forecast is subject to change at this time due to uncertainty in the current computer models related to Hurricane Joaquin in the Atlantic. Depending on the direction this system takes; it could prove for more or less rain for us heading into the weekend and early next week. At this time we're calling for clouds, showers, and possibly a storm through Thursday with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s. A little cooler for Friday with highs in the upper 60s. And more rain for the weekend with highs in the mid 60s. For right now, next week looks drier with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 70s to start the week. ... See MoreSee Less

Beth RobertsYou can't always control what your child does when their away from you. If the parent allows the bullying then yes, but most of the time parents correct their children, they still do it. Punishing the parent will do no good.1 week ago

Happy Friday! As we wrap-up the work week, we'll see cloudy skies and plenty of showers for the area today. Possibly some periods of heavy showers, with folks getting anywhere from 1/2" to 1" of rain by the day's end. Some areas could see a little more. High temps struggling to reach 70 for the afternoon. The rain should begin to taper off some by football kick-off time tonight, but we'll stay mostly cloudy. Tonight's Lows dropping back to around 61. For the weekend; cloudy skies and about a 30% chance for scattered showers stay with us for Saturday with High's in the low 70s. Sunday looks fairly dry, but the clouds remain with a High near 78. Next week you can expect a mainly dry start for Monday, with scattered showers redeveloping later in the week...Highs remaining in the upper 70s to near 80. ... See MoreSee Less
